History of KONOHANA Co., Ltd.
1928 Mori Rankei Factory was founded by Mr. Kiyoshi Mori (Founder)
1945 The factory was destroyed by fire of World War II
1946 Renamed trade name to KONOHANA Iron Factory and re-opened business at KONOHANA-Ward,
Osaka, Rebuilt new factory
1950 Organization changed to Co., Ltd., and trade name changed to KONOHANA Rankei Co., Ltd. Head
office moved to Kitayama-cyo
1961 New office and factory have been built at present places.
1965 To increase productivity of our original printing and bookbinding products, KONOHANA Kiko Co., Ltd.
was established as an affiliated company
1966 Our trade name changed to KONOHANA Co., Ltd. Tokyo branch office opened as a sale foothold for Tokyo, Kanto and Tohoku areas
1969 Domitory and new factory were built at Heguri-cho, Ikoma-gun, Nara Pref.
1971 Joined in a technical tie-up with Mitsubishi Iron Co., Ltd. for zinc-coating, new equipment for
zinc-coating was installed and run
1972 Merged KONOHANA Kiko Co., Ltd., and firm's captial set at 48 Million Japanese Yen
1973 Went into plate-making business, plate-making dept. created.
1974 Increased productivity at Ikuno factory. Upgraded facilities of plate-making. Tokyo office moved to
new office.
1975 Development of new products at Ikuno Factory
1983 To enlarge our pate-making business, Saibi Co., Ltd. was founded
1984 Mr. Kiyoshi Mori, President, passed away. To cope with business development in Kyusyu area,
Kyusyu branch office was newly established in August
1986 Mr. Masaru Mori assumed President
1987 Saibi Co., Ltd. merged into KONOHANA Co., Ltd.
1997 Joined in a business tie-up with Pierre CALLET, France
1998 Tokyo branch office moved to the new office
